Please park in the old Wal Mart parking lot and be careful crossing Hwy 84. No parking can be allowed on the school parking lot during the day. Also please adhere to social distancing guidelines and only have 1 or 2 people in your group. This is completely optional. MHS is inviting everyone to drive past the school on Friday night from 7 - 7:30 to celebrate our seniors on their original graduation night. Please drive down Kings Highway and then turn left on Hwy 84. Please be prepared to honk and wave and keep it moving. There are also daily Coronavirus Updates posted as well to inform you of the steps being taken by the DeSoto Parish Board and . Our role is to help ensure the safety of not only your child but the Mansfield community. The Department of Student Learning will be providing online resources to support the retention of grade level and subject area learning standards. These resources will be in alignment with the information your child has already learned in their classrooms this year. The items will be updated weekly and focus directly on Louisiana State Standards that align with the curriculum used daily in our classrooms. In addition, printed packets of these same materials will be available for pickup at our local parish libraries as well as at the feeding program sites. Again, these packets will be updated weekly. Students will not be expected to complete school work during this time. However, these materials can be used to focus students on the standards that have already been taught to keep learning concepts fresh. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for students with the support of local churches. Please reference the district’s website for the locations.
